Can I use this adapter to connect a PS5 (HDMI) to a USB-C monitor?
No. This adapter only works from USB-C devices to HDMI displays. It’s not bi-directional and won’t convert an HDMI signal (like from a PS5) to a USB-C monitor.
Will this adapter work with Windows laptops or other USB-C devices?
This version is optimized for macOS. For Windows or other platforms, you can still achieve 8K@60Hz/4K@240Hz in nearly all typical use cases. However, we recommend choosing the “All but macOS” version to ensure full compatibility on non-Mac systems.
