The Cable Matters Low Voltage Surface Mount Backbox provides a convenient solution for installing network or communications cables on a wall or furniture.

Important Note:

Fits a standard sized faceplate with a width of 2.76 inches. Proprietary-sized faceplates must be used with the products from the same vendor.

Sturdy Surface Mount Backbox


1) ABS plastic with UL 94V-0 safety rating


2) Screw keyholes for mounting


3) Multiple exit points for dressing cables

Simple Installation


4) Secure the faceplate onto the backbox with screws from the faceplate


- Fits most threaded wall plate mounting screws


- Easily relocate or reconfigure the cable terminations

- Standard 4.5 in length

- Single-gang 2.75 in width

- Depth of 1.85 in for cabling
