Sr. Marketing Analytics Specialist  (Consumer Electronics)

The Role

The Sr. Marketing Analytics Specialist will create and implement the brand vision, marketing communications materials, and corporate message for Cable Matters. This role requires an individual with a keen interest in consumer electronics and the ability to utilize consumer data metrics in the formation of a strategic marketing plan. This individual will work with our domestic and international office to enforce brand consistency in a team environment without a strict hierarchy.

Essential job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strong brand identity with a distinctive look & feel to represent the Cable Matters corporate culture and product line
    •  Analyze customer data metrics, including SEO, to create a strategic marketing plan for all marketplaces
    •  Evaluate and track advertising ROI for platforms such as Google AdWords and Amazon
    •  Assess consumer electronics industry trends and key competitors to include in marketing plans
    •  Fulfill marketing and sales objectives including key initiatives
    •  Create content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and the Cable Matters website
    •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing programs and provide guidance for a consistent brand image

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
    •   Minimum of 3 years of Marketing experience including digital account management
    •   Ability to develop and execute marketing concepts such as brand positioning, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, and consumer segmentation
    •   Strategic thinker with problem solving skills using data analysis tools
    •   Proficient computer skills for data analysis and reporting using MS Office
    •   Skilled creative content producer for technical products and concepts
    •   Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    •   Social media marketing experience including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter
    •   Provide direction to graphic designer for artwork and video production
    •   Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
