Content Marketing Specialist  (Consumer Electronics)

The Role

The Content Marketing Specialist serves an integral role in the overall success and profitability of Cable Matters. This position demands a creative individual with a tactical mindset to prioritize and optimize content for enhanced marketing campaigns for the Cable Matters Amazon store and other e-commerce platforms.

Essential job responsibilities

  • Create enhanced content on various e-commerce platforms and social media for Cable Matters products
  • Identify consumer electronics industry trends and products from key competitors
  • Provide content for marketing campaigns to increase customer conversion rates based on consumer data metrics
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to enhance Amazon A+ pages and Cable Matters website content (whitepapers, etc.)
  • Establish relationships with consumer electronics press and product review websites
  • Oversee graphic design and video production content
  • Strengthen brand identity ‘look & feel’ of Cable Matters products

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field
    •   Minimum of 3 years of Marketing experience including digital account management
    •   Ability to develop and execute marketing concepts such as brand positioning, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, and consumer segmentation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude and intellectual curiosity for explaining complex technical concepts
  • Creative storyteller for product-use scenarios visually and in writing
  • Multi-tasking ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite applications (Adobe CC product suite is desired)
  • Self-motivated problem solver requiring minimal supervision
